Lawrence parks to use effluent water for irrigation

Recalimed wastewater to replace more than a million gallons of potable water

The Associated Press reports that the Kansas Department of Health and the Environment  approved a plan for the City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department to use reclaimed wastewater for irrigation.
